1. Manufacturer information takes priority

Blik en Bederf is an official TinCakes reseller. The product label and packaging supplied with your order contain the current manufacturer information and take priority over general website descriptions.

2. Ingredients and allergens

Always read the complete ingredient and allergen declaration on the tin before consumption, even if you have ordered the flavour previously. Recipes, suppliers and packaging information may change. TinCakes may contain or be produced in environments handling common allergens. Contact us before ordering if you need help locating available product information.

We cannot guarantee that any product is suitable for a particular allergy, intolerance, religious diet or medical diet unless the manufacturer’s current packaging expressly confirms it.

3. Storage

Store unopened tins in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. No refrigeration is required before opening unless the product label states otherwise. After opening, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and consume promptly.

4. Shelf life and date information

TinCakes generally have approximately six months of cupboard shelf life, but the date printed on the individual product controls. Check the date when your order arrives and follow the label instructions.

5. Inspect the tin before opening

Do not consume a product where the tin is swollen, leaking, badly dented along a seam, rusted through, punctured, unsealed, tampered with, or releases unusual pressure, odour or contents. Photograph the tin and contact us. Do not taste food to determine whether it is safe.

6. Serving information

A TinCake generally serves one to two people. Serving statements are estimates and may vary by flavour, appetite and occasion.

7. Medical disclaimer

8. Reporting a concern

Report suspected contamination, tampering, labelling concerns or damaged tins immediately to sales@blikenbederf.co.za or WhatsApp 060 979 6606. Include the order number, flavour, date or batch information and clear photographs. Preserve the tin and packaging until advised otherwise.
